The Caudwell International Children’s Centre is the UK’s first purpose-built centre for multi-disciplinary therapy programmes for childhood disability, diagnosis, support and research of neurodevelopmental conditions.
Despite the unique and challenging needs of Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, current statutory legislation focuses on physical, auditory and visual disabilities alone. There is little or no consideration for Neurodivergent disabilities and so C4 Projects and Caudwell Children had to continually challenge current legislation to devise bespoke processes and design strategies.
This seminar will review the challenges faced and how they were overcome.
Refreshments will be provided.
