This session will enable WBEX members to hear directly from the key media and editors what it takes to help them break the latest news stories.

Find out what makes a good news story, what you should think about (i.e. attention-grabbing headlines, great content and images), how to pitch your story and how to build up a strong contacts book in the sectors and region in which you operate.
On the panel will be;
Gareth Dunning - Deputy Editor at Warrington Guardian
Katie Mulloy - Cheshire Life’s new Editor
Helen Carter - experienced national and regional journalist. Former BBC, News of the World and The Guardian
Also in attendance will be the BBC’s Political Reporter for Cheshire, Phil McCann who will be on hand to speak with attendees and network with local businesses at the session.
