Steve Park has held several Director \ senior management positions in local and national government agencies as well as the private sector.
Steve is currently Managing Director of Warrington & Co., a position he has held for the last 5 years.
Warrington & Co. has ensured the creation of £800 million of investment and has helped create over 7000 jobs. Projects managed by Warrington & Co. includes the multi-million pounds Time Square town centre regeneration project. Warrington & Co. also managed and oversaw the purchase of Birchwood Park on behalf of Warrington Borough Council in 2017.
Prior to coming to Warrington Steve was the CIO at Manchester City Council and Programme Director at the Home Office. Steve's private sector experience is extensive working in Toronto and New York for TD Waterhouse stockbrokers; also working in Tokyo and Hong Kong for MasterCard. Earlier in his career Steve worked across Europe in a lead role for Kellogg's, was an auditor and Project Manager at Matalan and trained as a Chartered Accountant. Steve lives in St. Helens with his wife and 2 daughters, is a Director of University Technical College Warrington and has been a Magistrate for 13 years.
Stephen has worked in Warrington for the last 15 years, most recently with EEF The manufacturers' organisation and the North West Development Agency.
He has travelled across Europe, the USA and China, supporting global brands such as Nike, JP Morgan, State Bank of India and Sitel. An economist by degree, he has also worked in the home shopping sector, telemarketing, learning & development and manufacturing. He has been a board member of several important North West organisations including the Greater Manchester Business Growth Hub, North West Business Leadership Team, Call Northwest and Making It (Liverpool).
He is a regular panel guest for regional media publications such as Business Insider and has appeared on television and radio to comment on manufacturing issues. Stephen is passionate about the customer experience and his ongoing ambition is to elevate the profile of Warrington and the North West region to make it the number one destination for international investment decisions.
Outside work, his time is taken up with three boys all under 12 and coaching youth football.
Jackie is a former Warrington High School pupil, she was born in Warrington and having lived and worked throughout the UK and abroad has returned to live in Warrington.
Jackie worked at North Wales Newspapers and North Wales Weekly News before joining Cheshire Life in 1999 where she was Sales Manager until 2017.
In August 2017 Jackie joined Warrington & Co. as Business Exchange Manager.
Her outside interests include Pilates, Yoga, Step, Walking in North Wales and Facebook.
