FREE BLOOD PRESSURE TRAINING FOR WARRINGTON BUSINESSES – a great opportunity for workplace health & wellbeing CPD

Warrington Public Health works to improve the health of people who live or work locally and help prevent serious health issues developing. Local health data shows that there are thousands of people living and working in Warrington with high blood pressure that has not yet been identified. For most people high blood pressure has no symptoms but over a period of time if untreated can block arteries leading to the heart and the brain increasing the risk of heart attacks, strokes and dementia. It is important that we get as many people as possible to have a blood pressure check to give them an opportunity to either get treatment when existing high blood pressure is detected or have the opportunity to make changes to their lifestyle.

There is a free Blood Pressure Training available to businesses based in Warrington, people who attend the session will then be skilled and equipped to take blood pressures and give appropriate advice in the workplace as part of a regional initiative. This would be a great opportunity for any member of staff with a role related to workplace health or employee wellbeing who want to develop their skills further.

We have two training sessions coming up on 26th March, please follow the links below to book your place. Please note there will be maximum of 5 places per organisation.
