- Who are you? Gary Skentelbery
- What sets you apart from the competition? Independent family owned media business
- How did the business come about? Originally formed in 1968 as a news agency selling news and pictures to local, regional and national newspapers, radio & TV Orbit News developed www.warrington-worldwide.co.uk as the first independent online newspaper in the UK alongside publishing free local high quality community news magazines. Now publishing six titles across Warrington & Cheshire.

- What are your main target markets? Depending on local advertising, our target market is SME’s who want to develop their brand and win new customers.
- How long has your business been in existence? 50 years
- How many staff do you employ? Six full time six part-time
- What job or achievement makes you most proud? Developing an independent publishing company and winning the support and backing of many key organisations and businesses in the town.
- Where do you see the business being in five years? Leading the way in digital publishing
- Why Warrington? Warrington is in our DNA
- Tell us one interesting thing about the business that might surprise us? Now become a third generation family business
- Tell us one interesting thing about you that people might not know? (ie, hobbies, amusing fact, etc) Being proactive on social media means there is not a lot people don’t know about me. After family, my next big passion is classic rock music and I can still be seen enjoying myself in the mosh pit as a rocking grandad! · Brexit – good, bad, opportunity? It has divided our country – so whether you are in the leave or remain camp, it is bad for our country.
