Meet the Member - Henry's Laptops Warrington

  • Name of Business - Henry's Laptops Warrington
  • Who are you? - Henry "selfie king" Seddon
  • What sets you apart from the competition? - I am straight talking and I am a peoples person who works late or early to give my customers 100%
  • How did the business come about? - Luck... Was given a job at Barclays bank December 2009 and I knew nothing about IT let alone turn on a computer. I setup my business in December 2013 with limited skills and just gone from strength to strength.
  • What are your main target markets? - People who want to get a value for money service and bunt honest answers. Basically I can help EVERYONE. How long has your business been in existence? 10th December 2013 - Still going strong 2018 and long shall it last.
  • How many staff do you employ? - Only myself at the moment but one drive I might expand
  • What job or achievement makes you most proud? So many! But one sticks out the most... Apple wanted to charge the customer £955 give or take a couple of pence. I fixed it for £65 which was 2hrs labour and £15 power pin which wasn't on the original quote from Apple.
  • Where do you see the business being in five years? - Working for many celebrity people and maybe a TV appearance but I won't hold my breath on those coming a reality.
  • Why Warrington? - Moved up from Hastings aged 17 because my dad lived in Warrington and I knew this place had big potential because my dad advised me it's a growing town as he owned Acorn Property.
  • Tell us one interesting thing about the business that might surprise us? I work from home in a posh location called Dallam. If that doesn't shock or surprise you then im out of jokes for the day.
  • Tell us one interesting thing about you that people might not know? (ie, hobbies, amusing fact, etc) I was once hit in the side of the head whilst driving by a pigeon and this is no lie. I phoned up my dad and said I must now have bird flu and it really hurt by the way. I am one to try new things but this was taking the biscuit.
  • Brexit – good, bad, opportunity? Not a big issue to me. Our kids might suffer but let's see what happens. We as a nation can come together and make it great again.
  • Fantasy dinner party – which six people alive or dead would you invite? Ohhh this is a hard one.... 1, Business Mum Jackie Emson 2, Dad *passed away* 3, Sir Alex 4, Gail Stubbings *blooming Art* 5, Rachael Seddon *wife* 6, Tom Dooley *next door
