  • Name of Business? itglu

Who are you?    An IT Solution Company with a difference, we put the customers’ needs at the very forefront, rather than simply providing a basic IT service. We specialise in IT Support, Telecoms and Bespoke CRM Development, as well as in various other sectors. We’re approachable, adaptable and affordable. We know how stressful it can be when things start to go wrong, but our forte is ensuring businesses run both efficiently and smoothly.

• What sets you apart from the competition?  Our expertise is obviously a huge benefit; our experts have over 20 years combined experience in the IT sector. What really sets us apart though is our friendly staff whose sole aim is to improve your business, our clients can back us up on that one too!

• How did the business come about?   Through demand. We experienced a lot of people coming to us because they were frustrated at dealing with several different people when it came to their IT Support. We also found that although there are a lot of CRMs out there, businesses were looking for a more bespoke system which was specific to their business.

• What are your main target markets?  Regionally we offer services to businesses in Warrington, Northwich and the rest of Cheshire, but as we expand so will the places we cover. We don’t have a specific target market as we believe our expertise can help any type of business, no matter how big or small.

How long has your business been in existence?   We have been providing businesses with our IT support and solutions for over a decade but have worked under the radar up until now. Not long ago we made the decision to rebrand our business and here we are now!

• How many staff do you employ?    We’re continually growing, but our key people include Jon, our Technical Director, Matt Gordon, our Senior Support Engineer and Stacey our Project Manager.

• What job or achievement makes you most proud?  Every job, we really can’t put one thing above another. No matter the task, it really does make our work worthwhile when we hear positive feedback from our clients.

Where do you see the business being in five years?   The possibilities really are endless. The speed both IT and Warrington are growing makes some extremely exciting times ahead.

• Why Warrington?  In the very centre of two of the country’s biggest cities, Liverpool and Manchester, it makes perfect sense. It gets overlooked so often which means there’s huge untapped potential and numerous clients that with our help can really thrive. We’re from Warrington too, its home and we know it like the back of our hand and customers really seem to appreciate that.

Tell us one interesting thing about the business that might surprise us?  Our sister company is Mosaic Digital Media. A well-known digital marketing and web design agency and along with our help, we can offer new and future clients the full package from both of our brands.

• Tell us one interesting thing about you that people might not know? (i.e., hobbies, amusing fact, etc.)    Our Technical Director Jon can complete a Rubik’s cube in under 10 seconds… OK, not 10 but he’s very speedy!

• Brexit – good, bad, opportunity?    It’s more than three years on and no one is any the wiser. I think that’s the real problem, there should have been a firm plan in place for whatever the outcome, and it’s making the UK look like the laughing stocks of Europe because of it.

Fantasy dinner party – which six people alive or dead would you invite?     This must change on a regular basis, but I reckon there’s a couple that would always be in there. Tim Berners-Lee would be our first choice, how could you not have the creator of the World Wide Web there?! Two that have unfortunately left us would be Steve Jobs and Stephen Hawkings. Any dinner party needs a comedian, so Peter Kay would get the nod, the voice would come in the form of Beyonce, whilst Usain Bolt can occupy the coveted sporting slot.
