Name of Business – Altum HR

Who are you? – We are a hands on Human Resource Consultancy

What sets you apart from the competition? – We provide inhouse and remote HR support to SME’s. Full business partnering to ensure you feel like you have your own HR department as part of your business, rather than a stranger at the end of a phone.

How did the business come about? – A passion for people and business and background in Law made for the perfect storm.

What are your main target markets? – SME’s in any sector. Being a business owner is a daunting and lonely road at times and we find we add real value in offering a real support function to businesses.

How long has your business been in existence? 3 Years

• How many staff do you employ? 2 Full time and several consultants

What job or achievement makes you most proud? – That our clients are happy and refer us to their network. There is no better compliment than a referral.

Where do you see the business being in five years? – Continual growth, and the leading HR provider in the North West for SME’s.

Why Warrington? – Warrington is thriving, with a huge diversity of clients we can provide a face to face and in house service which is our USP.

Tell us one interesting thing about the business that might surprise us? – We are bilingual so our Welsh clients get all the Altum HR experience in their mother tongue.

Tell us one interesting thing about you that people might not know? (ie, hobbies, amusing fact, etc) – I am a National Equestrian Vaulting Judge (have a look on YouTube!)

Brexit – good, bad, opportunity? – Opportunity for us to continue to provide stability, advice and support to our clients during times of uncertainty.

• Fantasy dinner party – which six people alive or dead would you invite? – Granny Gwril, Barak Obama, The Queen, Ghandi, Danny Dyer and Mary Berry (she can bring pudding)
