Meet the Member - Judith Todd of Homestyle4U

Name of Business Homestyle4u

• Who are you? Judith Todd

What sets you apart from the competition? I am not aware of any other businesses in the local area that offer the service I do. Through my experience of moving house and in the estate agency profession, I firmly believe that many home owners are missing an opportunity to maximise the value of their property when selling and therefore can end up either reducing the selling price or remain in limbo for long periods as their property languishes on the market unsold. With the way buyers search for property today presentation is of vital importance.

How did the business come about? Having worked as a solicitor for many years, I wanted a change of career and have always been interested in property and interiors. I initially trained in interior design and then trained as a home stager because I felt that this was a service that was needed.

• What are your main target markets? Estate Agents ad other property professionals.

How long has your business been in existence? Initially set up in 2011

• How many staff do you employ? Just myself

What job or achievement makes you most proud? Seeing a property sell quickly and for a good price so that the home owner can move on with their life

• Where do you see the business being in five years?  I am focused on spreading the word and making people aware of the service and its benefits

• Why Warrington? Warrington is a great location with good infrastructure and transport links

• Tell us one interesting thing about the business that might surprise us? It doesn’t have to involve spending a lot of money

• Tell us one interesting thing about you that people might not know? (ie, hobbies, amusing fact, etc) I enjoy crafts such as knitting and sewing and knit baby clothes

Brexit – good, bad, opportunity? An opportunity

• Fantasy dinner party – which six people alive or dead would you invite? Nelson Mandela, Micelle Obama, Gary Barlow, Margaret Thatcher, Brunel, Prince Harry
