Meet the Member - Megan Pearson from MP Sports Therapy

  • Who are you? Megan Pearson, owner of MP Sports Therapy
  • What sets you apart from the competition? I am a young, dedicated and aspiring individual with a range of experience in both professional sport and the private sector of physiotherapy. I am currently mobile with my job which a lot of people seem to prefer. I am keen to develop my skills, so I am always pushing for the best treatments for my clients
  • How did the business come about?  Following a couple of years working both privately and in sport, further opportunities developed allowing me to branch out to other sporting events and also to develop my own skills and client base
  • What are your main target markets? To help not only injured people and athletes, but to promote general wellbeing in the work place and in general life. How can my services help you in the long run not just now? That's what I want to promote
  • How long has your business been in existence? MP Sports Therapy has been in existence since 2017 but has only been my full time priority since October 2018
  • What job or achievement makes you most proud?- With my previous job in professional sport, we managed to reach 2 finals with the chance to work at some world famous grounds, but also I am proud of the development of MP Sports Therapy in such a short space of time!
  • Where do you see the business being in five years? In 5 years time, I want to be working more so with businesses and individuals outside of Warrington, branching out my services
  • Tell us one interesting thing about the business that might surprise us? I am currently building a massage/clinical studio in my parent's garden for me to be based out of
  • Tell us one interesting thing about you that people might not know? (ie, hobbies, amusing fact, etc) As well as a passion for my business and seeing the progressions that my clients make, I am also very passionate about Performing Arts. Although now I don’t really have time to do much, I was previously a dancer for 18 years and now enjoy frequent visits to the theatre and concerts!
  • Fantasy dinner party – which six people alive or dead would you invite? Olly Murs, Prince Harry, James Cordon, Audrey Hepburn, Julia Roberts and Whitney Houston.
