Blog Article ImageName of Business - Personify HR

• Who are you? – Sarah Pearson

• What sets you apart from the competition? – Extensive Operational experience, not just HR. I have been instrumental in growing businesses as part of the Senior Management team across various  sectors across several operational areas.

• How did the business come about? – I had thought of setting up my own consultancy for the last 3-4 years and the time felt right.

• What are your main target markets? – Any business with 5-65 employees that have no internal HR support, although we can support internal HR teams too.  I am particularly passionate about start ups and entrepreneurial businesses.

• How long has your business been in existence? Just 1 month!

• How many staff do you employ? – Just me…..so far

• What job or achievement makes you most proud? – I have been lucky in my career to work for some amazing businesses.  In 2000 I was sent out to Boston with 5 others to set up the new, US operation from nothing.  Just an empty office, a wing and a prayer!  It was very hard work but an incredible experience and most importantly a great success.  From an HR perspective, changing mindsets is very fulfilling.  When employees or managers tell me I have made them think differently about their job and/or management style.

• Where do you see the business being in five years? – I would hope to have a bank of clients that have been with me for 5 years because they are happy with the service that I provide.

• Why Warrington? – Its where I live so close to home but I am hoping to attract clients from across the North West.

• Tell us one interesting thing about the business that might surprise us? – Ask me that in a year, no surprises as yet!

• Brexit – good, bad, opportunity?  There’s an opportunity in everything.

• Fantasy dinner party – which six people alive or dead would you invite?  Jesus (I can then answer the question of his existence!), Stephen Fry, Piers Morgan, Peter Jones, Holly Willoughby,  Priti Patel.    I’ve not thought too much about this!
