Who are you? Tom Jones, business owner

What sets you apart from the competition? I hold people to account for taking action on objectives they set themselves so that tangible progress is made

How did the business come about? Several changes over a short period of time and deciding to take control of my own destiny

What are your main target markets? Small to medium sized SMEs where the MD/Owner recognises a need to have an outside perspective on sales

• How long has your business been in existence? 2 years

• How many staff do you employ? 1: me!

• What job or achievement makes you most proud? Since going self employed helping a client organisation have its most profitable year in its 35 year history. Prior to going self employed my senior management roles at Kaplan and EEF along with achieving my Executive MBA.

• Where do you see the business being in five years? Continuing to help others grow their business and maximise their potential

• Why Warrington? It is where we have lived for the past ten years. Great location in the North. Still connected to London if required.

• Tell us one interesting thing about the business that might surprise us? Accredited to run Mental Toughness diagnostic tool which also assesses an individual’s resilience and confidence both key attributes in sales.

• Tell us one interesting thing about you that people might not know? (ie, hobbies, amusing fact, etc) I am a qualified cricket coach and am Chair of Junior Cricket at Warrington Sports Club.

• Brexit – good, bad, opportunity? Potentially divisive socially

• Fantasy dinner party – which six people alive or dead would you invite? Mandela, Botham, Branson, Jessica Ennis Hill, Mark O’Neill (personal friend) and my Dad.
