Warrington Contemporary Art Festival - ‘Art of our Time’

The 10th Warrington Contemporary Arts Festival Open exhibition launched to the public today with great success and runs until 20th December.

 The competition has been revamped this year by encouraging submissions from all art forms generating 441 entries, creating 3 new prizes (winners below) and invited Warrington artist Marie Jones to guest curate the exhibition. 

The 3 winners are: Textile artist Tara Collette won the £1,000 cash prize Visual anthropologist Hope Strickland won £1000 fee towards a solo show in 2021. Dance artists and choreographer Lauren Tucker has won a residency at the Pyramid Arts Centre to develop her dance and digital project 'Neverland'.
