The IBC helped to launch many local start-up companies whilst operating as a business centre and it was also home to Business Link, UK Trade & Investment and Warrington & Co. The building has been sold to a global organisation that is headquartered in Warrington and the Chamber is moving to be closer to the business community in the town centre.
The Base is owned by Warrington Borough Council and operated by Langtree, who also manage St James Business Centre at Bridgefoot. The Chamber will be reunited with Warrington & Co who have been at the Base since it opened in 2016, and of course the Business Exchange as part of the joint membership.
