After suffering a heart attack in 2018, Roz made a promise to herself that she would take full advantage of the opportunities life presented her from that moment onward.
As part of this, Roz set herself a goal of completing, and has worked hard over the past 4+ years toward achieving an MSc in Digital Marketing, alongside her day job of successfully running Beech Web Services and being a trustee of local charity Creating Adventures.
In the last WBEx update, Roz received a fantastic dissertation result of a distinction, and the team at Beech were eager to find out her final grade for the degree itself.
As of April 2024, Roz Healey is now an official master’s degree graduate!
Her dissertation research, based on the findings of a recent Google study of the online customer journey, contributed towards her impressive distinction grade for the degree. Roz used her individual research, including qualitative studies to understand how customers interact with websites and brands online and how this could be applied to the real-world business experience of website owners in a particular sector.
After 12 months of dedication and hard work, Roz handed in these findings in February to complete her degree work. She said:
“My studies have already benefited my team and my business immensely and I’m enjoying using what I’ve learned to help our clients achieve the online results they’re looking for. I’m absolutely thrilled with the Distinction result and have achieved something at age 57 that I never imagined I could. Graduation day in November is going to be very special indeed!”
Her business, Beech Web Services Limited is a digital marketing agency based in central Warrington. She is supported by Sophy Bostock, Beca Purvis and an expert digital marketing team. Beech Web Services offers integrated digital marketing services all centred around the creation, maintenance, and promotion of WordPress websites, helping businesses to grow and develop their online presence.
