As part of the sector-led improvement work, this resource intends to offer support to councils throughout the switchover period. Warrington & Co. are raising awareness across local businesses, especially SME's as to how this change, due to complete in 2025, impacts their businesses. All traditional devices that connect to the PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network), such as telephone handsets, ATM machines and telecare units will need reconnecting, with some needed upgrading or replacing, irrespective of what plans that telecare providers have to develop their service.
