They want their parents to be confident and assured that they are leaving their children in the safest hands when they pass their child over to them. Therefore, they are happy to give any new parents a tour of any of their nurseries where they can ask the Nursery Manager any questions or relay any fears they may have with placing their child in a nursery.

Also, to help with the current economic climate, at their Warrington Nursery, they are offering parents their 3rd month ½ price and are extending this offer to parents until the end of April 2022. Please call Tracy Towns on 01925 – 414686 for further details.

Also, due to an increase in their child placements, they have vacancies for qualified Nursery Practitioners in most of their nurseries. To discuss any vacancies, please call

Lesley on 07983 - 712525 or email her on:- recruitment@dunkysdaynursery.co.uk

Children at Dunky's Day Nursery

Toddlers have shown a real interest in World Book Day this month and have been doing lots of interactive books. A couple of their favourites were ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ and ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’. The children also did a fruit tasting activity with this and are still talking about it.

The children at the Warrington nursery enjoyed a calm and tranquil week practising their favourite yoga poses and relaxing at their Spa! Children have been encouraged the importance of self-care and how this makes us feel, whilst enjoying this relaxing time together with our friends.

Dunkys

Their babies and tots have spent lots of time exploring and using all of their senses. They have enjoyed exploring the outdoor space and the tuff trays staff have set up. The children have extended their language and vocabulary as staff have introduced lots of new words. The children have worked together and built up lots of new relationships. They have worked on solving conflicts with each other with staff support.

In this photograph, the children are exploring the world around them and one child came across a ladybird while out in our forest school.

This started up a conversation between the children about being careful, what the ladybird might eat and them keeping it as a pet.

Runcorn

Preschool show great care and consideration looking after the two pet bunnies Goldie and Brownie. Each morning the children volunteer to feed the bunnies and give them their daily greens. They have special brushes that the children use to keep their fur nice and fluffy. They have also been teaching them some funny tricks such as knocking over play blocks to find carrots.
