Empowering Local Teenagers With First Aid Skills

First Aid is an essential life skill. Teaching our young people how to deal with medical emergencies can be empowering.

As with adults, teenagers can be exposed to critical medical situations and giving them the knowledge they need to help, could save a life. Local training provider Fretus Group is hosting an evening class especially for local teenagers which will cover Choking – Heart Attacks – Cardiac Arrest – Use of Defibrillator – Recovery Position – Blood Loss and much more. The course will be held at the home of Rugby Sprogs at 89 Capesthorne Road, Warrington WA2 0JE on 11th May from 5pm – 7.30pm with places costing only £10 per head.

An accident can happen at any time, whether it be when there’s a group of friends in the local park or at a party. Young people naturally take risks. Teaching them these life-saving skills gives them the opportunity to evaluate those risks. We want to improve their confidence and ability to act when needed.
