That’s why she continues to support schools with free delivery of financial education and wellbeing sessions to children and adults.
The curriculum includes finance, so this helps schools deliver one part of the curriculum and more. Educating some keen young people into managing their money from a young age. Look at their faces as they are engaged experiencing through activities how to manage money!
Watching the children learn through the fun exercises the importance of saving, risk, reward, how to spot a scam and compound interest was so rewarding! Makes it so worthwhile knowing it could really help them later in life. And the feedback from the children was just incredible. Comments like “wish it lasted longer” and “excellent” and “I know to make a plan” are just brilliant!
Heather has now delivered sessions to 5-7 year olds and 10-11 year olds in Croft, Culcheth and the surrounding area and have extended the learning onto the teachers at the school to provide hints and tips on their financial well-being including saving, budgeting and planning for retirement.
This has again added to Heather's drive to get out there and help as many as she can with financial education and wellbeing. She also offers these free sessions to workplaces, either as a webinar or presentation or drop in sessions, in and around the Warrington and Cheshire area.
