Despite having worked in the digital media industry since the mid 1990s, her time at Chester University grew her knowledge exceptionally which is a benefit that will be passed on to all her clients.
For the final assessment, completed at the end of February, Roz dedicated hundreds of hours research for her dissertation on persuasive website tactics.
Her research was based on the findings of a recent Google study of the online customer journey, and she focused on the point of the journey where website visitors take action to create a conversion. Google found that this taking action could be influenced by tapping into automatic thinking that has been pre-programmed into all of us from our ancestors, and still applies today. Roz wanted to find out how this research could be applied to the real-world business experience of website owners in a particular sector. She was able to interview a number of businesses in the pet care sector via her network and made some very interesting findings.
Roz’s hard work has since been rewarded, with the confirmation of a 74% grade on her dissertation, equivalent to a Distinction. A fantastic achievement for the Warrington business owner!
