What sets you apart from the competition? – We offer multi disciplines all inhouse from our very experienced team. From initial enquiry to hand over we can provide consultation, design, installation, and certification. The feedback we receive from our clients is that we are always available, approachable, and overcome difficult problems with practicable solutions.
How did the business come about?- after being with my previous employer for 15 years I felt I needed to do more with my skills and to provide hopefully a stable future for my family, and with the incredible support from my wife we decided to go for it and have never looked back since.
What are your main target markets? – Domestic, Commercial, and industrial. Renewables, Smart home technology and electrical installation
How long has your business been in existence?- 5 years
How many staff do you employ? – 14 direct employees + sub-contractors
What job or achievement makes you most proud? – to have developed DAL into a trusted supplier in such a short time
Where do you see the business being in five years? – I see DAL and its associated businesses going from strength to strength with more targeted investment and with the green revolution we are hoping to go grow the business and offer additional employment opportunities for the local area.
Tell us one interesting thing about the business that might surprise us? – I started the business with no capitol or investment, the only thing I could sell was my beloved motorbike, although it was hard to see it go it was absolutely the correct decision although scary at the time my wife had my back every step of the way.
Tell us one interesting thing about you that people might not know? (ie, hobbies, amusing fact, etc) – I’m a pizza fanatic, my waistline really says I shouldn’t be, what the hell you only live once..
