Rebecca Wray
  • Name of Business Rebecca Wray Coaching Consultancy
  • Who are you? Rebecca Wray
  • What sets you apart from the competition? Our client centric approach.  We build strong relationships with our clients, working hard to understand the person, their role and their business, building trust and enabling us to provide bespoke solutions to meet the needs of the client rather than providing ‘off the shelf’ leadership development
  • How did the business come about? A delegate on a management programme of mine said his partner was looking for someone ‘just like me’ to do some coaching and would I be interested.  At first I said no but after reflection, I though do you know what, I’ll go and meet her, what do I have to lose!  That lady is still one of my clients now and her organisation has quadrupled in size since we met.
  • What are your main target markets? Medium size businesses who don’t have a training team looking to grow their own leaders to help with talent retention and leadership capability.
  • How long has your business been in existence? Since Sept 2011
  • How many staff do you employ? We employ 2 and have a team of 5 associate caches and facilitators
  • What job or achievement makes you most proud? When a coaching client releases themselves from their limiting beliefs.  Sometimes, coaching can be life changing. When a client begins to believe in themselves, EVERYTHING changes for the better: career, relationships, health, sleep, family… it’s the most privileged position to be in to provide support when your client is at their most vulnerable.
  • · Where do you see the business being in five years?  I hope to continue to grow enabling me to provide purposeful, fulfilling work to my team of associates.  I have a couple more colleagues I’d like to bring into the team if we increase our business.
  • · Tell us one interesting thing about the business that might surprise us? I balance running the business with being a Guide Dog puppy raiser – we’ve had a naughty (but cute) puppy try to sabotage many a meeting in the background!!
  • · Tell us one interesting thing about you that people might not know? (ie, hobbies, amusing fact, etc) I used to work for Jamie Oliver and won an all expenses paid trip to Tuscany, thanks Jamie!
  • · Fantasy dinner party – which six people alive or dead would you invite? Harry Styles (for obvious reasons), Brene Browne, Michelle Obama, My late Uncle Alan (I didn’t have enough time with him), Billy Connelly and Stephen Bartlett.
