You will be joining an experienced staff team which is able to support future career development and enhance your personal development. The successful candidate that joins the team will be a proactive, individual who has the ability and motivation to work as part of a team and interact positively with the children in the nursery too.
You will be responsible for:-
- The day to day running of the kitchen, maintaining high standards of cleaning routines.
- Following the weekly menus to provide healthy balanced meals.
- You will also be working within budgets whilst maintaining stock levels, ordering of supplies and stock rotation.
- You will have a knowledge of working with Safer Food Better Business Guidelines
- Understanding of working with children / staff with Allergies is essential
- Food Hygiene Safety Certificate Level 2 is essential
- A Cook’s qualification is preferable, but not essential as training will be given.
- Experience of working / cooking with children is preferable as it is a child friendly environment and interaction with the children is essential.
