Roz Healey, Director of Beech, attended the face-to-face bootcamp days, hosted by Alan Wilson of Net Zero Group. She learnt about the dramatic future impact of climate change on all businesses and discovered how to accurately measure and calculate our organisation’s current carbon footprint.
She was able to identify opportunities that exist for businesses ready to begin tackling climate change and create a new business strategy with sustainability at the core. This strategy will help us reduce risk and deliver long-term performance for our businesses.
When asked about the bootcamp and her experience, Roz said:
“I can highly recommend this bootcamp to any business that doesn’t already have a sustainability strategy. The sessions were a real eye-opener and I learnt so much that will help our business grow and thrive as we all face the inevitable impact of climate change.”
The focus of the bootcamp is as follows:
It’s becoming increasingly important that businesses work toward achieving Net Zero as taxation levels and regulations change. On completion of this bootcamp course, business owners will have:
- A Sustainability Strategy for your organisation
- A Carbon footprint (and reduction plan) covering scopes 1,2 and 3
- A plan for Net Zero by 2050
- A Level 3 equivalent qualification
