Swan Solutions have been providing IT support and technology services to businesses in Warrington and throughout the region of over 18 years. The former owners, Andrew Horrocks and Steve Nicholls have expertly managed strategic growth of the business over the last few years and high demand for IT services have rocketed in the last 12 months as organisations have be forced to change their use of technology due to Covid19, lockdowns and home working.
This and other factors resulting in perfect timing for the business sale with Andrew stating, “We had a unique opportunity to sell our shares at a significantly attractive rate to an individual who has the same drive and customer focused enthusiasm as we have had since day one and that’s very rare when you are selling a company”. Andrew explained that their success has been based upon delivering a ‘positive customer experience’ which has result in a high retention rate of clients. Andrew added, “It is important that this is maintained post-sale with staff welfare and customer care being a number one priority”.
The acquiring company is Tectrix Solutions, based in Swinton. Les Mitty is the owner and he already has plans for further acquisitions in the future with the aim of becoming a £10m revenue organisation in the next few years. Les stated, “This acquisition has nearly doubled our size overnight and we hope to have two more done within the next 20 months.”
As a result of the acquisition Les is anticipating revenues of £1.6m in the first year driven by cross-selling and investment in developing new business.
