This annual event is connected to one of the most renowned global brands in speaker conferences - TED.
TEDx events offer a TED-like experience where the audience watches several speakers present a talk for up to 18 minutes on a topic related to an event theme.
Feedback from attendees and across social media has praised the event, now it’s in second year, with some saying it exceeded expectations and even the 2022 event. WBEx was one of several local sponsors and we’d have to agree - the event was amazing!
Kirsty James, TEDxWarrington organiser, closed the event by referring to the visible sense of community in the room and expressed gratitude to those who had made the event possible - notably the 20-strong volunteer team and the event sponsors and partners, many of whom were Warrington-based.
The 2023 theme for Warrington was ‘Tackling Adversity, Embracing Change’.
100 lucky ticket-holders got to attend the live event to watch 9 speakers. The talk videos are currently in production to be submitted to TED for approval to feature on the official TEDx channel.
