The event will take place on Monday 4th December at the Pyramid Arts Centre and will focus on Carbon Literacy, discussing how it can help to drive local action to tackle climate change. The event will also act as the launch for a new training opportunity offered through a funded project WBC are running in collaboration with sustainability charity, Pure Leapfrog. This opportunity is available to all Warrington-based businesses, who are encouraged to come along to the event to find out more about the support they can receive through the project. This support includes free Carbon Literacy training with additional follow-on support to help businesses develop their own climate action plans and access a new local business network of climate activity. The event will be the first opportunity for businesses to register their interest for the limited number of places which are available.
