Nearly 200 delegates experienced “World Class Warrington”, inspiring them to be chase their ambition and think globally. Thelwall based DriveWorks spoke about their two Queen’s Awards for exporting and innovation whilst Verde Spaces revealed their new business with the Canadian military. Both local MPs contributed to discussions on large corporations and SMEs, including EMR, one of Warrington’s biggest companies with a £4.7 billion turnover. The event was fully funded by external sponsorship, with French multi-national, Equans (Engie) contributing to the international theme. Other sponsors included Adele Carr Financial Recruitment, City Fibre, LWA, Pro Business Consulting, Riqueza and Taylor Rose. Feedback was very positive, with social media helping to raise awareness of how the hosts support local businesses across the year.
